GSP

The EWMA’s MAP was submitted to DWR by the January 31, 2020 regulatory deadline as part of the Kern County coordinated Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) and DWR has two years to review the plans. February 2020 began the implementation phase of the GSPs, and the EWMA has set up its groundwater levels and quality network and is working on a project to better understand the aquifers and hydrology of its membership area and refine the sustainable yield assessment with the Kern Groundwater Authority Groundwater Sustainability Agency.
